Equitable Sales Illustrations Systems - User Tips

The Equitable Sales Illustrations system is available for Advisors to use to illustrate Equitable Life's individual products to prospective clients.

If you are an Advisor newly licensed with Equitable Life of Canada register yourself for access to the secure Advisor section of EquiNet. Access to secure EquiNet will allow you to:

  • Access information on business you are placing or have placed with Equitable Life.
  • Review sample contracts.
  • Access other valuable resources to help you run your business.

Recommended System Requirements:

Below are the recommended system requirements to help ensure the software will effectively run on your computer.

  • Windows XP and newer 32-bit Operating Systems with latest Service Packs
  • 1 GHz Pentium Processor or better (minimum 600 MHz)
  • 1 GB RAM or higher (minimum 256 MB)
  • 1 GB free Hard Disk space minimum
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 with Service Pack 1 or better
  • Windows Installer 3.0
  • Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8
  • Display 1024 x 768 High Colour with Normal Fonts (minimum 800 x 600 - 256 Colour withNormal Fonts)

Before proceeding with the installation of the software it is recommended that you close other applications running on your desktop, and disable any antivirus and antispyware applications, as they may interfere with the installation.

Note for Windows 2000 Users:

Please be advised that as of July 2010 Microsoft is no longer supporting the Windows 2000 Operating System. In order to continue to support newer technology included with the Windows Vista and Windows 7 platforms, support of Windows 2000 for the Equitable Sales Illustrations system can no longer be maintained. The 2010-4 version of the Equitable Sales Illustrations system is the last version that will support the Windows 2000 Operating Systems. Effective with the first release of software in 2011 Windows 2000 will no longer be supported.

Please note that this does not mean that your software will cease to function in Windows 2000 starting in 2011, it simply means that if you encounter a technical problem we will not be able to provide a fix for it.
