Important changes to notifications on individual life insurance products (Effective February 27, 2015) (français)
Equitable Client Access®. Thousands of clients have already signed up and are enjoying the convenience of online access to their policy information, account activity, balances, and more. With so much information available online, paper confirmation notices have become redundant.
Therefore, effective February 27, 2015, we're making some changes to our paper and electronic confirmation letters:
View electronic letters only
We will no longer be mailing paper confirmation letters for any deposits under $10,000 into a life insurance policy.
Clients must log on to Equitable Client Access to view these letters. Advisors can view the letters through EquiNet.
View transactions only
We will no longer be producing printed or online letters for the following:
- Calibrator warning letters,
- Cash withdrawal letters,
- Loan confirmation letters,
- Rollover from GDA confirmations,
- Surrender confirmations,
- Transfer between funds confirmations,
- Reduction in rating letters.
Clients can view the transaction on Equitable Client Access. Advisors can view the transaction through EquiNet.
