  2. Important Changes to your Equitable EquiNet Login
    We know that in today’s world, you have a lot of logins and passwords to go with them.

    Equitable® is taking steps to increase the security of your EquiNet® login while simultaneously removing the need for you to remember a password.

    This technology is called passkeys.

    A passkey will enable you to access all the great features EquiNet has to offer by using biometrics.

    You probably already have passkeys set up if you have an Amazon, Apple, Google, Uber or WhatsApp account.








    How passkeys will work on EquiNet:

    This authentication method is available now and will be optional to start. However, we strongly encourage you to use it. It is the next generation of security and makes for one less password for you to remember.

    All you need to do is log in to EquiNet as you normally would and follow the step-by-step prompts to enable a passkey. It’s that easy.
     
  3. Important changes are coming to the Equitable Life segregated funds contract.
    Fund changes are coming on June 7, 2021 to Equitable Life’s® segregated fund lineup. These fund changes will appear on the June 2021 semi-annual client statement and will be reflected in the 2021 Pivotal Select™ and Pivotal Solutions Fund Facts.

    Clients holding these funds received a letter in the mail. To view a copy of these letters, refer to the links below.

  7. Changes to the Compensation Inquiry section on EquiNet The Compensation Inquiry Section from EquiNet is only available on Microsoft Edge. Please follow the instructions below:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge, click on the three dots in the top right corner and select ‘Settings’.

    2. In the Settings menu, locate ‘Default browser’ and click on ‘Add’ in Internet Explorer mode pages.

    3. Enter the URL https://advisor.equitable.ca/advisor/compensationinquiry and click on ‘Add’.

    4. Login into EquiNet using Microsoft Edge and you will be able to access ‘Compensation Inquiry’.

    This configuration expires in 30 days, if you want to continue accessing ‘Compensation Inquiry’ after 30 days, you will need to redo the steps above.

  10. WFG KYC and Trade Ticket documents are now part of EZcomplete

    Equitable Life® wants to help you get on with your day. Effective June 11, 2022, WFG’s KYC* and Trade Ticket documents will be integrated into the highly rated EZcomplete® online application tool. This means no more completing these documents separately and uploading them to EZcomplete.

    By integrating the KYC and Trade Ticket with EZcomplete:

    • these documents will automatically populate with information collected in the EZcomplete process,

    • necessary signatures will be captured, and

    • these documents will be sent to WFG’s back office on your behalf.

     
    Once the application has been submitted, signed documents will be available for advisors, clients, and joint clients to download. It is that easy.
