    An EZ way to conduct your out-of-town business

    You asked for it, we built it: a solution for your non face-to-face business. EZcomplete® allows you to conduct your non face-to-face business easily and quickly with your clients providing their signature remotely on their own device.

    How does it work?

    EZcomplete walks you through the electronic signature process. EZcomplete allows your clients to sign remotely using their own device for non-face-to-face applications. You only need to enter their email address and provide them with a secret passcode to securely access the documents to review and sign.

  5. Equitable Life creates guide to accessing virtual healthcare at no cost

    With many health clinics closed and the healthcare system under strain, people are looking to access a doctor and other health providers virtually.

    To make it easier for plan members, we’ve created the Guide to Accessing Virtual Health Care Services on the plan member section of EquitableHealth.ca. This online resource provides information about and links to a range of virtual health services they need to take care of their health and the health of their family during these challenging times.

    The Guide also indicates which services can be accessed for free. In some provinces, online doctor visits are now covered by the public health plan, so there’s no cost to the patient to access them as long as they provide their valid provincial health card. In other provinces, the nominal fee can be claimed on a Health Care Spending Account.

    We will continue to update the Guide as more virtual healthcare providers and services become available.

  6. The new segregated fund EZcomplete cloning feature will save time and errors.

     

    The new cloning feature for Savings & Retirement EZcomplete® applications means that advisors don’t need to enter the same client information when completing multiple applications for the same client. 

     

    Here's how easy it is to use.

    This is just some of the information that will be automatically copied:

    • Name

    • Date of birth

    • Gender

    Today we’re pleased to announce the following additional updates took effect on August 12th, 2023: 
    1. Targeted improvements in rates, death benefits, and cash values for Equimax Estate Builder and Equimax Wealth Accumulator plans.

    3.  A new “rated age” calculation, and

  10. New flexibility with Equitable’s Term Exchange option Great news! Equitable® has just added our Term 30/65 plan as an option for term exchanges! This gives clients greater flexibility to choose a term plan that can adapt to their specific needs. 

    Clients can exchange their Equitable 10-year or 20-year term plans to a Term 30/65 plan as their financial needs change – without additional underwriting.

    What you need to know:

    •    A term plan that is a result of an exchange option cannot be exchanged again
    •    Exchange is available between the 1st and 5th coverage anniversary. 
         o    Only up to the insured’s 65th birthday for exchange to T20
         o    Only up to the insured’s 55th birthday for exchange to T30/65
    •    To request a term exchange, use the Term Exchange form.
